Salient features and benefits of the eGurucool Way of Learning
  • A well organised / structured lesson plan that generates interest, curiosity and provides clarity about the objectives that are to be achieved through the lesson. It is built around sub-topics that highlight principles. At all times it is borne in mind that each lesson is not just a textual lesson. For, it also incorporates the attributes of a very good teacher who asks, stimulates, prods, cajoles and inspires.
  • Technology is used wherever necessary – not to dazzle or distract but to provide greater insight through interactivity without disrupting the flow of the lesson. More so, because educationists and pyschologists agree that a student understands as well as remembers when there is creative interactivity built into any teaching methodology.
  • A student is able to gauge his / her understanding of each lesson. This is done through a massive question bank that is graded and organised in such a manner that each important sub-topic has a fairly exhaustive group of questions associated with it. For each sub-topic the question bank also proceeds in a gradual manner from easy to difficult questions. The student can also test himself / herself through a randomly generated question paper.
  • The student can also pace himself / herself to his / her individual requirements of time and location.
  • The student is urged to proceed from one sub-topic to the next within a lesson only after he / she has cleared an interactive self-check process.
  • Each lesson is constructed in such a way that both - bright as well as average students derive significant benefits in numerous ways. One such way is to provide a graded (from easy to difficult / challenging / stimulating) set of questions / posers of the interactive type.
  • Each lesson, wherever required or possible provides an algorithmic (step-by-step) approach to tackling problems.
