and follow the payment procedure.
- What
is the registration process for this course?
You can Register for the course online by providing your
basic personal details. Then click on the 'Submit' button
to confirm your registration. After the registration please
note down your "Transaction ID" for further use.
Or take a print of the confirmation page retain the same
with you.
- What
is the fee for this course?
This course is offered at two prices.
1. At
Rs. 7,500/- for certification by Edexcel International
2. At Rs. 4,000/- for certification by eGurucool.com
However
there will not be any difference the courseware / methodology
/ delivery / testing.
- Is
there any other hidden cost involved?
No. You need not have to pay any extra amount for this course.
- How
do I make the payment?
You can send the payment (in full) either by Cheque
or Draft in favour of "Learning Universe
Pvt. Ltd." payable at Delhi and addressed to 275-276,
4th Floor, Piccadily House, Capt. Gaur Marg, Sriniwaspuri,
Okhla, New Delhi - 110 065. On realisation of your payment
instrument, we will issue a set of User ID and Password.
Make
sure you write your "Transaction ID" behind the
Cheque/DD to help us identify you.
We
wait for the cheque to be cleared before we send you the Course
Activation Personal Identification Number (CAP).
- I

What do I do next?
Having received your CAP Slip, you need to activate the
course on www.egurucool.com.

Activation
- How
do I activate my course once I get my Course Activation
PIN (CAP)?
Visit www.egurucool.com
and register (in case you are a new user) / login (in case
you are a registered user)
1. Click
on Activate Course on the home page.
2. Enter the following information given in the CAP Slip
that you have received in the activation page.
a.
Course Code - Enter course code 000xxx in the space
given.
b. ePartner Code - Mention the code stickered on
the top of the CAP Slip you have received.
c. Course Activation PIN (CAP - Course Activation
Personal Identification Number) - These are enclosed in
your CAP Slip. Tear the slip along the dotted line to read
the Course Activation PIN. Please fill in these numbers
accurately in the space provided on the activation page.
Remember, this is a one-time process only. Once your
course is activated, you will have access through your My
Account area.
d. On submitting, you will be asked to confirm the
details of your course selection and PIN.
e. Once you confirm these details, your course will
be activated for you to access at any time.
- Why
do I need to login to activate the course?
Every learner of the course has to login to get access to
the course. It also helps us to have your details so that
we can provide you with personalised services like sending
you relevant information and mails about upgrades and other
offers.
- What
is 'ePartner Code'?
On top of the CAP Slip you will find a 4-digit number in
a sticker, called 'ePartner Code'. This number identifies
the channel through which you have purchased this course
and is needed for activating your course.
- What
is 'Course Code'?
On top of the CAP Slip you will find a 6-digit number in
a sticker, called 'Course Code'. This number identifies
the course you have selected and is needed for activating
your course.
- What
is Course Activation PIN (CAP)? How do I use them?
Course Activation PIN or CAP is your confidential personal
identification number. This is inserted in an envelope.
In order to activate the course, you need to enter the number
carefully in the space provided.
The entry of this PIN is a one-time process and once you
have entered the PIN numbers accurately, you get access
to the course. Also, it is important that your browser should
be Cookie and Java enabled for an ideal usage experience.
In case you are convinced that you have done everything
accurately and correctly and the course is still not getting
activated, please mail us at help@PTLT.egurucool.com
and give us 24 hours to rectify the situation.
- I
have entered the Course Code but the system is indicating
that it is invalid! What should I do?
It is possible that the Course Code has not been keyed in
correctly. Please recheck the code on the sticker and key
it again. If the problem still persists, please mail us
at help@PTLT.egurucool.com and give us 24
hours to rectify the situation.
- I
have entered the CAP but the system is indicating that the
CAP is incomplete or the value of the PIN is inadequate!
What should I do?
It is possible that you may have missed out a digit or more
of the CAP provided in the slip. Please check and enter
all the digits provided in the slip carefully and accurately.
If the problem still persists, please mail us at help@PTLT.egurucool.com
and give us 24 hours to rectify the situation.
- How
do I manage my account?
a.
How do I change my personal details online?
After logging in you can change your personal details by
clicking on Edit Profile.
b.
How do I change my password?
You can change your password to any of your choice at any
time at Change Password.
c.
I have forgotten my password, how can I access further?
If you have forgotten your password you can get a new one.
Click on Forgot Password and enter your
Login Name in the space provided. And you can choose to
get your Hint Question or can request to send a new password
to be emailed.
- What
is a "Learner's Account/Portfolio"?
On providing you with User ID and Password, we will create
an account for you at our end. Using the User ID and Password
provided to you, can access your account at any point of
time (but before the login expiry date)

the Course / Accessing the Course
- I
have activated the course. How do I access the course?
Once you have activated the course, connect to www.eGurucool.com
to access the course. Login with your Login ID and Password,
using which you had activated the course. On the home page,
the link "My Account" will appear. Clicking on
the My Account link will provide you access
to the course.
- What
is 'My Account'?
My Account is a link to the course that you have activated
and would like to access. It provides you with some additional
information - number of emails used of the total that are
provided as part of the course and your status in our referral
programme.
- Is
the entire course made available at one time?
Our faculty has created a study schedule for each course
to make your learning more focussed and efficient. Thus
the course will be made available in a phased manner.
- If
I have any doubts, how do I clarify them?
In case you have any doubts, email your queries to us and
our subject experts will give you the solution. A fixed
number of emails are provided with each course as part of
eSolutions. Another feature, eDialogue, offers chats with
experts at regular intervals besides a discussion forum
for you to interact with your peers. You can interact with
experts and/or peers to get your doubts clarified.

entire duration of the course?
No. You don't have to stay connected to the Internet / online
for the entire duration of the course. If you want, you
can save the pages and study at your convenience. However,
for accessing all interactive features like email (eSolutions),
chats and discussion forum (eDialogue) and getting the analysis
and feedback on your test performance (eValuate), you will
have to be connected to the Internet / online.
- What
happens if I get disconnected midway while studying my course?
If you get disconnected midway, you can reconnect to your
ISP and continue from where you left off.

How do I schedule my studies through
your course?
We offer a schedule for the course. This schedule indicates
the recommended study plan and the time to learn a unit
properly.
- What
basic knowlege do I need to have to take this course?
As this course offered in English medium, you need to be
comfortable in the same language. And as this is going to
be available only online, you need to have a working knowledge
of Internet.
To access
the course online you need to have a standard computer (Pentium
II or above, 4 MB, 32 MB) with a good Internet connectivity.
- Sometimes
the page does not load fully. What should I do?
The causes for the same could be that the Internet line
you are using may be running slow. You may have to wait
a little while for the page to download.
Also,
you could press the "Refresh" button on Internet
Explorer or "Reload" button on Netscape Navigator
with which the page you are accessing will download again.

duration
- What
is the duration of this course?
The duration of the course is 6 months.
- Is
it available throughout the day, or only at a specific time
in a day?
Unlike the traditional classroom teaching, this course will
be available for you 24 hours a day and 7 days a week (24
x 7 access) on the web. Hence, you can access the same anytime
and anywhere you wish to.
- Are
there any offline classes too and do I have to attend them?
There will not be any offline/classroom teaching. The complete
courseware will be made available only online.
- What
is the maximum amount of time available to me for completion
of the course?
The normal duration of the course is six months. However,
an extension of one month is possible on special request.
Thus your registration will be annulled exactly seven months
from the day of activation of your course.
