This is the first chapter of national income accounting. It will take you through the basic concepts, which will be used throughout this book. Most concepts are briefly introduced and some are discussed in detail, in the later chapters. Usually, examples follow the theory. So, if you find the theory hard to follow, try to understand the example and then read the theory. What is an economy? (Explanation) What are goods and services? (Explanation)
